Here we are its the last day of Nov 2008 and what did we wake up to find outside on the ground?  You guessed it, our first snowfall here in Missouri, not a lot thankfully most places had maybe 1-2″ on the ground it was a heavy wet snow;

This is  one of the pine tree’s out at my Dad’s farm I do enjoy seeing the snow when its hanging on all the braches and it is pretty to see like this, Thankfully too the roads were only wet we were right at the freezing mark now tonight could get bad I’m not sure what the temperture is suppsed to be tonight;

Snow I can deal with its that stinkin ice I hate like we had last year I don’t ever want to experience another ice storm like that again anytime soon, no thanks!!!

Here is a picture of my car with snow still on it even after driving out to the farm…LOL!!  I brushed it off with a broom after I took the picture so the stuff wouldn’t freeze hard later tonight;

So did you have any snowfall late last night or where ever you live today??  How much did you get??  I honestly have been so busy I’ve not had time to even watch the news or weather today, we had our last Thanksgiving “feast” today and as usual we all ate too much again!!   Here is my last photo that I took today on our first snowfall of 2008;

I have to phone the Vet’s office in the morning to check on my cat minx I do hope and pray she is feeling better, poor honey has a really nasty cold or something;

My Poor Minx (my cat) she had to be taken to the vet today, she has a really nasty cold or pneumonia I am still waiting for the vet to call me and let me know how she is I have called twice since I took her there early this morning and its now 3:00 p.m. my time, For heaven’s sakes how long does one have to wait the last time I called about an hour ago they still had not even examined her…WTF??   So the longer they make me wait it out, the more stressed out I get worrying over my cat;   Here is a current photo of my Minx;

I cannot  for the life of me remember her age I know she is older than 10+ now maybe more will have to check it out at the Vet later in my file, I cannot even remember the age of her first born Screamer which is my baby and she lives here with me in my home, Minx and my other pets are out at my Father’s farm;  Which I hate , I hate that we all are not “together” anymore; So here I sit on pins and needles waiting to hear what my poor darlin has, and I pray it won’t get my Screamer sick whatever she has I know I’ll have to bring her “here”  hope the asswipes that run this place don’t find out..

GGEEZZ!  

Nothing else to talk about today other than I made another Apple pie for tomorrow we are having another Thanksgiving gathering for those that could not come on Thursday no wonder we all are so stinking fat!  We eat too much! 

Too much really GOOD FOOD!  

Black Friday is what they call the day after Thanksgiving , a big shopper’s crazy day is what it is! 

I spent most of my day watching my very favorite Tv show ” Deadliest Catch”, they were having an all day Marathon and my VCR has been recording the shows since 8:00 a.m. this morning on the Discovery Channel…(G)! 

What can I say? 

I’m a huge fan its not been on tv for several weeks now, not even the re-runs which of course is what this is but I don’t care I’ve been having Deadliest Catch Withdrawal’s for Weeks now , so I’m grateful today is a marathon of their shows from Season 4 ;  Suits me just fine!! 

The guys are so much fun to watch  they do have a really really dangerous job out there catchin those darn crab but this show is more than just a reality type show you know? 

You get to watching it and it just becomes as addictive as any other show but these guys are REAL, what they do is “REAL” & Very very dangerous!  

So yeah I’m a huge fan and I can’t wait until April I guess for Season 5 to air…maybe old Santa will hear my pleas of pity and buy some DVD’S for me for Christmas, I wish!   LOL!!! 

So that’s what I’ve been doing most of my day here I did manage to get some laundry done today and I’ve been eating those great left over’s we all have from our huge meals we ate yesterday!  I also had another 4 hour nap today guess I was more exhausted than I realized huh?

Well I hope everyone here had a Great day and I hope no one had too bad of a Turkey coma the last two days, and had a safe experience out shopping, not me I wouldn’t head out to those darn places if I had all the money in the world, no thanks !!

Happy Thanksgiving {{Everyone}}!!

We had quite a huge meal again at the farm, but then we always have way too much food;   We of course had the traditional turkey, dressing,

(stuffing to some of you), Gravy, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, hot rolls, greenbean casserole, pitashio fluff, that Mary Ellen brought,  three different kinds of dessert, Cheesecake, pumpkin pie, and Apple pie and Oh God I had to bring my dessert home with me I was too friggin full to eat any there;

But it was a good meal, and a beautiful day here in Missouri , Wow I don’t remember when we’ve had such a gorgeous day here in Missouri for Thanksgiving!  Very Unusual!  

So that takes care of one family session down, we get to do it all over again on Sunday when the rest of the family will join us, my two nieces and their spouses, boyfriend will be at the house, so we get to pig out on the left over’s on Sunday I of course will have to make yet another Apple pie!

ITS TURKEY COMA NAP TIME!  LOL!

Today is Wednesday Nov 26, 2008 the day before Thanksgiving, I’m busy in the kitchen preparing to make 2 Apple pies for tomorrow’s dinner; 

There is a knocking on my door, seeing as how I know the neighbor is home after being gone for a week I know it will be one or more of them at my door sure enough its Renee and her daughter Justus and her Granddaughter Riahanna, they have come to say “hi” and want to see my Christmas Decorations;  I open the door we talk a few minutes, and discuss things that have happened the past week I tell her about her friend Josie coming over and how she broke one of my crystal vases Saturday, yeah I know she didn’t do it on purpose, things happen especially to ( me);

Anyway we talk for several more minutes and then Justus comes back in and she is over by my TV, looking at my Angels and Santa and I didn’t see her but her Mom is suddenly yelling Don’t Touch That and then you hear that God Awful sound of “something” crashing against the floor here which is nothing but Concrete with tile on it;   The little darlin “beastly child” broke one of my most beloved, cherished wolf plates, I was and I still am just “sick about it”, the plate she broke was called ” Silver Scout” from the Bradford Exchange  here is a scanned picture of it , One I had on file from when I had “insurance” for my items when I owned my Mobile home, which I’ve not had now for almost two long years;

   Well too many it may just be a silly plate but for me it was one of my cherished items;   Somebody in that family owes me now for this plate or get it replaced one….Josie owes me a crystal vase it won’t be the one like I had that got broken seeing as how it too was something from many many years ago, what is it with these damn people coming into my home this week and breaking my shit??  Am I being unreasonable? I mean seriously WTF??   Justus runs out of my place, Renee is in the front room cleaning up the mess which is more than Josie did Saturday I had to clean up all the shards by my self that day, and even though as I said this happened hours ago it still just sickens me that it got broken today;  Why?  what have I done to upset the universe so much today?  This Week?  Why now are my treasures being broken by bafoons from next door?  I’m sick and tired of it and somebody is going to pay one way or another;  I don’t have a lot of money either and what shit I had is now slowly piece by piece being broken from the idiots next door;  Yeah Happy Thanksgiving now what can I break of yours??

Yep its only 2 days now til Turkey Day!!!  Is everyone ready to fix a big old dinner and have mega tons of company at your house??  I guess we are as per usual the gathering will take place out at the farm;  That’s where we all still gather for the holiday’s, I just want to get it over with myself, I’ve things to do here at home on my computer (G)!   Now Friday is going to be a day for ( me) and (me) only;  No shopping for me, I’m gonna have my big old butt parked most of the day in front of my tv watching my favorite show, ” Deadliest Catch”, they are having an all day marathon of shows! 

WOOHOOOO!!  I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!

Why is it that Monday’s just seem to always be bad days, they are wretched!!   The morning started off ok as far as that goes but with each passing hour the day just gets worse and worse;  Maybe its just me I don’t know but its one more day that I just don’t accomplish a damn thing!  

Three days to go until Thanksgiving and I didn’t get squat done today well I take that back, I did one load of laundry …  

WHOOPPEEE!!

I did manage to squeeze in a two hour nap too does that count?  No I didn’t think so!  I needed to be writing today and taking care of some re-writes on a few articles but that too didn’t get done and I doubt it will before I go to bed;   I did manage to get some things listed on ebay again today and tomorrow they are reducing their listing fee’s…yeah rah!  Savings for me hope something sells I need money badly!

Its a long ways off from being pay day again

( for me) that falls on the 3rd of the month

( my disability). I must still be half asleep as I am making one stupid mistake on here after another so I think I shall close this nonsense now and end not only your suffering if you are still reading this but end my own for trying to type it out..LOL!! 

Must fix a bite to eat too before my show comes on tonight and that is “DANCING WITH THE STARS”

Would you like to see pictures of my Christmas Tree? I’ve worked really hard on it the last few days what with struggling to get it up all by myself and decorating the rest of my place.  The place where I live now is really small as to where I used to live so things are really cramped up together but I think it looks really pretty!

As you can see I use purple, blue, silver and some clear ornaments on my tree, but mostly its purple & blue, its very pretty.   The tree stands 7 1/2 ft. tall and has 1000 prelit lights on it, I love it because it just looks so “realistic” you know what I mean??

I know you really can’t tell from just looking at this photo but this tree is so big it fills up the whole dining area, here where I live now the table is shoved up against the wall and there is only  a path

to go into the kitchen area and rest of my place;  so there you have it, this is my Christmas tree and other decorations in my home!

I swear if I didn’t have bad luck , well I just wouldn’t have any at all;  Do you ever feel like that?  I do all the time, well today I spend most of it slowly decorating my tree I put up yesterday, its a slow process for me because of my neck and back, I can only do so much before the pain just screams in my head and the muscle spasms start, so like I said I slowly start decorating my tree, I’ve got almost  3/4 of it done now and its really looking nice and pretty, just as I had sat down here on my computer to take a wee break and rest my back, there is a knocking on my door…GGGRRRR!!!!!!!  Friggin neighbors are ALWAYS buggin me for something!  

Well it was Josie and she is in pain and begging for some aspirin or begging for a back pain patch and the stupid “nit”‘  not paying attention to where she is walking through her coat hits one of my crystal vases with my beautiful fake poinsettia’s in them, the crystal vase just kinda falls in like slow motion to the floor and then SHATTERS into a thousand shards of glass!! I am in the kitchen watching this play out and she says I didn’t do that did I?? 

ARRRGGHHH!!!

Um Yeah, you were the last one to walk through!!!

So now I’ve got shards of glass all over the concrete floor here/that’s tiled anything that hits this floor has no prayer of surviving a fall.  So I spend maybe twenty minutes cleaning up glass, cussing out loud, I move my only two small lamps in the frontroom , and rearrange my floral decorations, I was worried that the neighbor’s little girl who is 7, would be the one to break something of my Christmas decorations not an adult…for heaven’s sakes!!! 

PISSED ME OFF!!!!!

I mean when you are in another person’s home, Its just common  “sense” to be CAREFUL right??  I am not a rich person and what I have I do aim to keep and not have broken you know?  

So I’ve still got to finish up decorating my tree but I am just so out of the mood right now;   That’s how my day has gone!!!

Thank Goodness I got my Christmas Tree up today, Yep I did it all by myself again, surprise surprise anytime I need help to do something nobody is ever around even when they say sure I’ll help you, just ask me , well its hard to ask when they are out of town.  So I tackled it myself and I cussed and fussed the whole time I am trying to get the two big pieces up out of the box;  You see when I bought this tree I had my own mobile home and I had never had my own christmas tree and for many years I was too depressed and too upset to even care if I had any decorations much less a tree, but after many many years I suddenly decided I wanted a tree of my own and it was time for me to decorate for the holidays again ( heal my heartache and pain) again another days’ story but not today;

So when I went to look for a tree I didn’t want those cheap looking ratty old things the retail stores sell, sure they have improved them immensely over the years the artificial tree’s but still I knew there were better ones out there, and I found the most gorgeous realistic tree at Home Depot, it was a beauty!!!  Expensive but a beauty! Well of course I bought it, rather I charged it..LOL!  It looked magnificent in my mobile home front room it just was so damn beautiful I must say;   Then things change in our lives and even though I owned my home I did not own the land it sat on and after living there for 9 wonderful years I had to move it or sell it and I didn’t have that kind of money to move it and to find land to buy to put it on so I sold my home and live in a really crappy place and my huge 7 1/2 ft tree ( huge for me) only fits in the dining area..LOL!  The ceilings are so stinking low here that is the only place it will fit and I can’t put my big angel on there but I did find one that is just as beautiful only smaller, so last year I struggled alone with it and this year too and I’m sure when I take it down I’ll be doing that myself as well.

Praise be that there is a local chiropractor I see here in town is all I can say and I pray I have money for the co-pay to go see him as it is I’ve only been able to go once this month and I am in really bad shape,

( pain wise) nothing new there, but once I get this tree decorated then I will be seeing my doctor and ask him PLEASE FIX ME!!!  I am in terrible pain, just terrible pain I’ll be lucky to be able to raise my arms to type and to wash my hair that’s how badly I get

( stupid body) stupid neck and back injuries all I can say is, Thank God for pain meds and muscle relaxer’s and heating pads and HOT SCALDING SHOWERS…aahhh they feel so good! That’s the quickest and fastest way for me to get pain relief;   So yes My big tree is up, all the light sets are hooked up on it that I can see/find now its just time to decorate it, that will be tomorrow’s task;  when I am done I will take new photo’s of my tree and some of my front room, I think its really pretty!!  That’s all I have for today, I am exhausted as usual, thanks for stopping by now;
