Stop whining and Be thankful!

Published by wolfspirit at 2:15 pm under Thanking God Edit This

I really need to practice more of what I say or preach you know?

I just finished watching one of my favorite shows,

Joyce Meyer’s  I just love her, and afterwards I went down the hall to change my laundry around and I had the sudden thought  of Yes I need to be more thankful for the things I have, like my own washer and dryer, Be Thankful that I don’t have to drag and haul my laundry around to laundry mats to do it each week, Yes thank you Jesus & Father God that I have in my home a great washing machine and great dryer;  Thank you God so that I don’t have to do this outside of my home;

You know I have a really bad back and bad neck injuries, thank you Father even though I do on occasion gripe and complain while doing this weekly task I am grateful to have these here at my disposal to use as I need;

I think we all should say many thank you’s throughout the day

for all the many things we do have, things that help us out

with our daily chores even when we may not feel up to doing them;

So I shall try once again to be more grateful and say thank you!

Thank you , Thank you , Thank you I really am grateful for what I do have, and will try not to whine so much about the things I do not have;

It’s hard I know, but I will try to do better and try my best to be more grateful each day;

    You’re absolutely right. I, too, have to remember to be more thankful. I try (the operative word here is try), to look at the positive at each turn.

    AS the very much overused phrase goes “When life gives you lemons, make a lemon meringue pie.”

    Well…that’s not how the saying goes, but you get my drift.

    Great post!
