I swear I have become the world’s biggest blunder_butt on earth!

A couple of days ago I was sitting here at the computer typing away when my phone was ringing, and I could hear my neice speaking on my answering machine, so I go to get up and got so dizzy, and Old Gracie here ( me) slams my right foot/already broken toes) into the kitchen table which now has me in a full blown falling momentum you know?

Where I live there is solid concrete under the tile here so I was trying my best to recover from my downward dizzy spiral of I’m gonna hit the floor…brain is screaming no, don’t hit the floor you have enough injuries already so I twist, and try to thrust my upper body towards the kitchen table here where my stupid computer is sitting, my printer and the big heavy tower you know?

Since I had wrapped my foot/toes around that leg it gave the table quite a jarring and at the same time my brain is registering that hey “Klutz” you are gonna crash here, my brain is also screaming …

GRAB THE PUTER, SAME IT FROM CRASHING ON THE FLOOR!

well long story short thank God I did not hit the ground but I sure did slam my right side up against the table I was in so much pain from all of that I was trying to calm myself down and trying to not burst into tears from the pain, I already had a chiropractor appointment scheduled for the next day thank God!

When I get there I tell him my “horror story”, and so far its taken

two treatments trying to put everything “out” back into where it belongs I wasn’t really sure if I had even broken anything, I mean I live with so much pain daily HOW DO I KNOW? I mean really seriously HOW WOULD I KNOW?

He says on a scale of 1-10 what is your pain level, I hate it when someone asks me that its the dumbest thing they’ve ever come up with at hospitals and doctor offices; DUH!

I told him well now if you had asked me that right after it had happened I would have said my pain level was a 50 or higher, at the time of my visit I told him it was still at least a 15 if not higher..

again I HATE IT WHEN I’M ASKED THAT STUPID QUESTION!

Everything hurts from my head to my toes, speaking of which

I already had 9 out of 10 toes broken over the years after this fiasco I think I am now 10 for 10 on the broken toes…

OUCHY OUCHY OUCHY!!!!

so even though I’ve not been blogging for awhile trust me there is always something going on here in my life…never a dull moment!!

so be careful at home I swear you can really hurt yourself in a bad way really really fast!

I can’t believe its been 10 days already since I last saw my Cat Minx,  10 days of not knowing whether she is alive or dead or what has happened to my old Momma Cat;

As time goes on I am starting to fear the worst for her, I still don’t feel like she is dead but what other explanation is there for her to be gone this long in time?

Minx honey I miss you so much,  I pray you are ok and will find your  way home to me soon;

If you’ve passed on and have gone to heaven I hope it was a safe and happy journey for you and I’ll see you again!!

Today marks the second day that my Old Momma cat Minx has not been out at my Father’s Farm, I took her out there several days ago when our crazy winter weather decided to turn spring like here in Missouri, anyway I took her out there as she has been missing my two dogs so much, they all are quite close and such good buddies, she has been just howling around the house here missing them so I took her to the farm to visit them first chance I had.

Saturday was the last time I had seen Minx and I should’ve just brought her home then but Saturday was such a beautiful day I didn’t want her to miss out on yet another great day to be outside.  and now I am kicking myself for not bringing her home.

Today even though it was crazy windy out there I went to all three barns, no cat  I searched all around the house, No cat, I drove up and down the road no dead cat in the ditches, thank the Lord!!!

I even drove out to my old place out in the country further down the road from my Father’s farm its about another 3 miles or so.

My other Calico Cat Scodie had went back to our old home many many times after I had first moved, but Minx has not done that and as long as her buddies were there ( my two dogs) she is /was quite happy I just cannot imagine what has happened to her, she’s either hurt, or dead where ever it is that she is, and I pray she is neither!

I am not ready to part with my Minx, so please if you are reading this say a “wee prayer” for my Cat Minx to come back home to the farm safely, or go back to my old home safely I will be checking there daily as I am the humane society , if she tries to find her way here in town she will meet her death, there is just too much traffic, that would be a miracle in itself if she were to find her way here at my home in this miserable town;

Please be safe Minx I love you and I miss you and I am going stir crazy not knowing where you are;

Well its been several days and several treatments that my Father has had done on his hip and leg, my doctor has been treating him now since last Thursday or Friday?

It’s been some rough days for him and for me, I am just exhausted not only from doing his daily errands and my own and trying to keep the household chores up at the farm for him and my place has just kinda gone to the wayside;  I’ve not been feeling well either for the last two weeks, some nasty virus has a hold on me and it won’t let go no matter what I take, when I do manage to get home I fall into my bed and sleep for hours on end, I should be in bed now but I’m struggling to stay awake here;

Once the swelling goes down on my Dads lower back I still think he needs to go see a specialist for his leg, a vasucluar specialist I’m sure I spelled that wrong,  what he needs is a test to see if the blood is flowing , I think my Chiropractor said it’s  a Ultra sound test they do to make sure there are no blood clots, thankfully he takes plavix otherwise I’m sure he would have thrown a blood clot by now;   He just will not go to the ER, or his other doctors about his leg I am just at my wits end with him on this matter;

The silly cane he wanted me to buy him sits on the back end of one of the kitchen chairs now its doing a really good job hanging there isn’t it??   That was a waste of money, he used it one day and that’s the only time , he’d rather stumble and hobble from wall to wall to chair to chair at the house…OH MY GOD!!!!

Tomorrow is my day for my own Doctor appointments!!!

and when I get home I think I’ll fall back into bed (G)!

My Father who is 81 years old going on 82 in May, is such a pain in the butt at times;    Last Wed or Thursday he started having really bad pains in his lower back, I tried to get him to go see the chiropractor, but no he didn’t want too;

Then by the Weekend he could barely walk again and again I’ve tried to convince him he needs to go see his docotor or the chiropractor, SOMEBODY ANYBODY, now he’s so bad he can barely hobble across the floor we’ve had snow and sleet and now he’s so bad he can’t get into the truck, nor would he be able to get down into my car or get up out of the car you know?

***GROWL***

The man just makes me Mental at times I swear he does;   This is what he does he waits until he is so stinking “bad off” with any of his health problems then he winds up going to the Emergency Room or will have to be taken there by Ambulance, and I’m guessing its going to be by Ambulance this time around, but once again this morning I had to run to town and get him more pain patches he is using them up like eating M & M’s , its just crazy!!

But what do you do huh??   I guess I’ll see what things are like in the morning with him, I’ve no idea what he has done to himself, he says he has not fallen any recently but then he never does tell me the truth so I’ve no idea I’m guessing he has done something to his hip or lower back one or the other, the Crazy Man!!

Do you have a digital Camera?  Does yours eat the batteries??

I love my camera but I swear that thing just “eats batteries”, if I don’t take the batteries out of the camera when I am finished using it and if I leave them in the camera , the next time I get ready to use my nice little machine, the batteries are dead as a doornail!

Very very aggravating!   I use my camera a lot now, well more than I used too as I like to take photo’s of my recipes I fix, create, bake or whatever it is I am cooking so that I can use the photo’s along with the recipe I am posting here or on other sites I use;

I was fixing meatloaf today and wanted to take pics of it and wouldn’t you know it?  Darn stupid camera had ate my batteries cause dumb old me had forgotten to take them out once again;

They are so stinking high too these days ( the batteries) GEEZZ!

So I won’t be posting my meat loaf recipe today I’m just burnt out from the whole ordeal, (winter weather) blues and it just leaves me drained I swear it does;

My cat Minx has been pining away for her two friends my two black labs out at the farm, so since the weather was strangely warm today I took her out to the farm so she could see that the dogs were fine;  LOL!

I swear I could make a movie out of those three, she just loves those dogs to death;   She was quite happy and content to be out at the farm this morning;   She is getting older and after she got sick back in November she’s been staying here with me in town in my home, which she loves to do too, and her daughter Screamer is here with me,  and wouldn’t you know it, she has been missing her Mother all day today, good grief!!

Once again she is sitting here beside me at the computer in her chair right off to my left, I have to keep petting her in between  sentences here otherwise I get a nice little “nip” on the underside of my arm while typing…  Bad Cat!  she is something else!

what would we do without our pets huh??  For me personally
I might as well be six feet under because I just cannot imagine a life without my babies or pets of any kind;

I swear my cat Screamer can be the world’s best cat at times and yet on other days like today she is driving me “mad” at a very fast pace;

Every time I come in here in my room ( my computer room) she can be in the deepest sleep either on my bed or on my couch, and here she comes lickety-split and starts to “bug me” wanting attention;  She will stand up on her hind legs nudging my arms and nipping me on the soft underside of my arms while I try to type,  she will meow that sound she makes when she is wanting me to pet her, pick her up and hold her, she has specific sounds she makes and if you are a cat person you know what I mean (G)!

Like I said she has done this repeatadly today and I’ve no idea why she is like this I’ve fed her, I’ve held her and played with her like I do every morning but today is just one of those days when she absolutely will not leave me alone in here and since I stayed in here earlier today she got into my trash in the kitchen which she knows is a big NO NO NO, and her little butt got into trouble big time!!  LOL!   She knew she was in trouble too as she dashed under the bed and she started doing this “scream meow” she does when she’s in trouble like she’s saying I’M SORRY, I’M SORRY, MOMMA, I’M SO SORRY, while I’m trying to call her out from under the bed and telling her in my stern voice, SCREAMER

you are in trouble no matter how long you sit under there LOL!!!

Bad cat!!!    Lordy me you’d think it was a full moon again but we just had a full moon , little beast!!!

“attention” from me while for heavens sakes I can’t pet her 24/7 the crazy cat, aka my black furry ding dong!!!

My Cats are so darn funny at times!!  

They play with the silliest toys like Q-tips, Yes Q-Tips my cat Screamer loves them every morning when I shower afterwards she knows her Momma is gonna be opening the drawer for her morning Q-tip, and she can’t hardly wait for me to finish using it, she flips a nut over them and my other Cat Minx who is staying here with me during the cold winter months since she got sick back in November, anyway both of them are just playing and being so silly this evening while I am “trying” to do my business there in the bathroom these two crazy cats are playing with the stupid q-tips Minx is outside the bathroom door and Screamer has her Q-tip in my tub and both of them are just going Nutso with the stupid things I can hardly do what I’m wanting to do in the bathroom because I’m laughing so hard at these two cats…LOLOL!!!!    So then I throw the empty toilet paper roll to Minx and of course she starts batting that thing up and down the hall and then Screamer gets in on the fun of it, and she jumps back into the tub and I know she is wanting me to throw the stupid toilet roll into the tub so like a good Mommie I bend over pick it up and toss it into the tub, she loves to play in the tub with well anything and she is knocking that stupid thing up and down the tub so loudly I start to wonder if my next door neighbor can hear this crazy camotion???   And Yes I’m still laughing at my cats and “snorting” LOL!  Good Grief!

And Now they are both being quiet while I sit here and type about them, I guess they are re-charging their cat batteries for later on tonight.

I realize that even though I live in Missouri, that there are many many other states with way worse temperatures than where I live, but I’m telling you what it’s been freakin cold out today!!!!   I am not a cold weather person, no thank you!!!  

Wind chills here this morning was a (-21-23) degree’s below zero!!! 

BBBRRRRR!!!!!!! Tonight is going to be another really cold one about a     -5 degree’s hopefully the wind will die down, that will help out a lot;  I honestly don’t know how those of you up north and North East stand the bitter cold I’d have to move I just could not stand it!  I feel so sorry for you all I really do!!!

What worries me more are all the animals outside, all the homeless people everywhere, all day today on the TV they’ve talked about how the shelters are open and are trying to get peopleinside;  It’s just sad no matter how bad we all think we have it, there is always someone out there with worse problems;  My utility bill runs high but I am thankful for a place to have , and to have heat;

I don’t like where I live but again I am warm and dry and on cold nights like tonight I’m very grateful to have what I do have!!!

I pray everyone survives these nasty bitter cold nights!!!

Pray for Spring!!  And Warmer days ahead!
