I can’t believe its been 10 days already since I last saw my Cat Minx,  10 days of not knowing whether she is alive or dead or what has happened to my old Momma Cat;

As time goes on I am starting to fear the worst for her, I still don’t feel like she is dead but what other explanation is there for her to be gone this long in time?

Minx honey I miss you so much,  I pray you are ok and will find your  way home to me soon;

If you’ve passed on and have gone to heaven I hope it was a safe and happy journey for you and I’ll see you again!!

Today marks the second day that my Old Momma cat Minx has not been out at my Father’s Farm, I took her out there several days ago when our crazy winter weather decided to turn spring like here in Missouri, anyway I took her out there as she has been missing my two dogs so much, they all are quite close and such good buddies, she has been just howling around the house here missing them so I took her to the farm to visit them first chance I had.

Saturday was the last time I had seen Minx and I should’ve just brought her home then but Saturday was such a beautiful day I didn’t want her to miss out on yet another great day to be outside.  and now I am kicking myself for not bringing her home.

Today even though it was crazy windy out there I went to all three barns, no cat  I searched all around the house, No cat, I drove up and down the road no dead cat in the ditches, thank the Lord!!!

I even drove out to my old place out in the country further down the road from my Father’s farm its about another 3 miles or so.

My other Calico Cat Scodie had went back to our old home many many times after I had first moved, but Minx has not done that and as long as her buddies were there ( my two dogs) she is /was quite happy I just cannot imagine what has happened to her, she’s either hurt, or dead where ever it is that she is, and I pray she is neither!

I am not ready to part with my Minx, so please if you are reading this say a “wee prayer” for my Cat Minx to come back home to the farm safely, or go back to my old home safely I will be checking there daily as I am the humane society , if she tries to find her way here in town she will meet her death, there is just too much traffic, that would be a miracle in itself if she were to find her way here at my home in this miserable town;

Please be safe Minx I love you and I miss you and I am going stir crazy not knowing where you are;

My cat Minx has been pining away for her two friends my two black labs out at the farm, so since the weather was strangely warm today I took her out to the farm so she could see that the dogs were fine;  LOL!

I swear I could make a movie out of those three, she just loves those dogs to death;   She was quite happy and content to be out at the farm this morning;   She is getting older and after she got sick back in November she’s been staying here with me in town in my home, which she loves to do too, and her daughter Screamer is here with me,  and wouldn’t you know it, she has been missing her Mother all day today, good grief!!

Once again she is sitting here beside me at the computer in her chair right off to my left, I have to keep petting her in between  sentences here otherwise I get a nice little “nip” on the underside of my arm while typing…  Bad Cat!  she is something else!

what would we do without our pets huh??  For me personally
I might as well be six feet under because I just cannot imagine a life without my babies or pets of any kind;

I swear my cat Screamer can be the world’s best cat at times and yet on other days like today she is driving me “mad” at a very fast pace;

Every time I come in here in my room ( my computer room) she can be in the deepest sleep either on my bed or on my couch, and here she comes lickety-split and starts to “bug me” wanting attention;  She will stand up on her hind legs nudging my arms and nipping me on the soft underside of my arms while I try to type,  she will meow that sound she makes when she is wanting me to pet her, pick her up and hold her, she has specific sounds she makes and if you are a cat person you know what I mean (G)!

Like I said she has done this repeatadly today and I’ve no idea why she is like this I’ve fed her, I’ve held her and played with her like I do every morning but today is just one of those days when she absolutely will not leave me alone in here and since I stayed in here earlier today she got into my trash in the kitchen which she knows is a big NO NO NO, and her little butt got into trouble big time!!  LOL!   She knew she was in trouble too as she dashed under the bed and she started doing this “scream meow” she does when she’s in trouble like she’s saying I’M SORRY, I’M SORRY, MOMMA, I’M SO SORRY, while I’m trying to call her out from under the bed and telling her in my stern voice, SCREAMER

you are in trouble no matter how long you sit under there LOL!!!

Bad cat!!!    Lordy me you’d think it was a full moon again but we just had a full moon , little beast!!!

Love her to death but not when she gets into the trash in my kitchen!!   GGGRRRR!!   yeah I know she was wanting more

“attention” from me while for heavens sakes I can’t pet her 24/7 the crazy cat, aka my black furry ding dong!!!

My Cats are so darn funny at times!!  

They play with the silliest toys like Q-tips, Yes Q-Tips my cat Screamer loves them every morning when I shower afterwards she knows her Momma is gonna be opening the drawer for her morning Q-tip, and she can’t hardly wait for me to finish using it, she flips a nut over them and my other Cat Minx who is staying here with me during the cold winter months since she got sick back in November, anyway both of them are just playing and being so silly this evening while I am “trying” to do my business there in the bathroom these two crazy cats are playing with the stupid q-tips Minx is outside the bathroom door and Screamer has her Q-tip in my tub and both of them are just going Nutso with the stupid things I can hardly do what I’m wanting to do in the bathroom because I’m laughing so hard at these two cats…LOLOL!!!!    So then I throw the empty toilet paper roll to Minx and of course she starts batting that thing up and down the hall and then Screamer gets in on the fun of it, and she jumps back into the tub and I know she is wanting me to throw the stupid toilet roll into the tub so like a good Mommie I bend over pick it up and toss it into the tub, she loves to play in the tub with well anything and she is knocking that stupid thing up and down the tub so loudly I start to wonder if my next door neighbor can hear this crazy camotion???   And Yes I’m still laughing at my cats and “snorting” LOL!  Good Grief!

And Now they are both being quiet while I sit here and type about them, I guess they are re-charging their cat batteries for later on tonight.

Good Lordy why is it that Monday’s are so darn hetic and crazy busy?  I had planned on taking my cat Minx back to the Veterinary clinic today but had so many other errands this morning and had to make a stop at my Chiropractor I woke up very very stiff and could hardly move this morning so I needed a treatment and I needed it badly, but now I am feeling guilty for not getting my cat back to the Vet’s; so far today she has not “tossed her cookies”, she has kept both wet food down and her dry food so who knows?  I  am hoping tomorrow will be a calmer, slower day for me and I can get her back there for her check up;  

The weather has warmed up a bit the last couple of days and I also had planned on taking her out to the farm to visit the dogs, my silly cat just loves my dogs and she misses them so much, when I come home and take off my gloves and stuff and lay them on the couch , she will hop up there  and “sniff” them and roll on them and then lay on my gloves I guess that makes her feel closer to them (g)!! 

But she really really does love them and I know she is missing them big time!  Poor Honey!  I just don’t know what to do about it though even though the temperture as I said has warmed up the last few days, ( crazy ass weather) the winds are still cool enough I just don’t think she needs to be out in it too long and once I take her back to the farm and release her she’s not gonna want to come back inside the pet carrier anytime soon if you know what I mean .

My poor Minx is still not feeling well, I’ve been gone all day until about an hour ago, came home the first thing I do is to feed my cats, as they are meowing me to death that they are starving..LOL! 

So I get them some canned cat food, they have dry food that stays out all the time for them but I do feed them bits of wet canned food off and on throughout the day;  Anyway I no more feed Minx, park my butt here on the computer and I hear her “tossing her cookies”   er Cat food I guess I should say (G)~!    Poor Honey and right on my only rug in the whole house too, on my kitchen rug now this is a big rug, not the kind you can easily stick in a washing machine you know? GGGGRRR!    She’s been doing really good about not getting anything on the rug but not today not when Momma comes home with a stuffed gut from yet another holiday feasting out at the farm;  

So I get my rags again, no paper towels in the house at all, wipe up the three spots/piles she left me and threw them all in the washing machine again;

Yesterday she threw up just plain liquids three times and yet she ate later in the day and kept it down as far as I know there might be a ton of unwanted “surprises” for me under my bed or behind the couch, BLEH!  But she is due back for a check up and I hadn’t taken her because of the cold icy weather we had so now we need to go, something in her tummy /chest is still not right for her to be tossing up her canned food;  So I guess this pnuemonia is a hanging on to her system (poor kitty) I know she is hungry for more food and wants to eat but she just throws up every so often, I just pray my other cat Screamer doesn’t get sick too;   So that’s how my day is going here.  I just wanted to come home and take a nap;  

Yep! All three of my furbabies are here under one roof right now, if anyone has been following my threads here you already know I have the one cat here and I had two out at my Father’s Farm;

So anyway back to my story, last week I had to bring Minx here

Screamer’s mother as she got sick and had to be at The Vet’s for

four days and she somehow got pnuemonia with our ever changing

crazy Missouri Weather so now she is here  for the winter months!

This is Minx;

and today I brought home my other calico cat Scodie, I feel bad for her being out there at the Farm, she’s not alone really she has the company of my two dogs but I worry about her health this winter too you know?  She’s not as old as Minx but I felt guilty at leaving here there so even though I’m not “allowed” to have this many pets here……I have my three cats with me and boy howdy did they get into messes today!!

Here is my Scodie-girl!!

She was all freaked out as she’s not been in here since I first

had to move here, so she’s been more of an outside cat all this time and Screamer was freaked out, ( Pissed at me) for yet bringing in another cat here No body likes to share me, I’m so glad and grateful that my animals at least love me so much…Probably only because I feed them LOL!   So when it was time for me to lay down and rest they all decided it was time to get more active and be bad kitty’s, they knocked down a few boxes here in my computer room, Screamer kept banging on the dishes, their food bowls and she kept walking on me while trying to nap and she knows better (G), but it being a full moon, she didn’t care and like I said she was pissed at her Momma ( me) for bringing in another cat, YIKES!  WHAT AN AFTERNOON!!  Tonight should play out to be really interesting as none of them are going to be happy to share space with me in my bed; OH MY GOD, what have I done?

I love my pets!  I love my pets!!

Finally today, I got to pick up my sick cat Minx from the veterinary clinic, she’s been in there since Saturday, poor honey had pneumonia, stupid crazy ever changing weather can even effect our pets and it sure did her she’s I’m guessing around 11 years old now, we were trying to figure this out by looking at her old charts, Lordy where does the time go too huh?  It seems like only yesterday when I brought her home with me, I got her from a dear friend I used to work with at Old Wallyworld, aka Walmart!

 when I got minx she was like a year and a half old at the time so I guess she’s for sure around 11 years old now maybe almost 12 yrs old now;

Poor honey she is going to miss my dogs so much but I will take her with me to the farm when the weather is not so blasted cold out after she gets well, she’s just gonna have to deal with it, and my other cat here, Her Daughter Screamer is not a happy camper at the moment LOL!

Minx  is a little stinky smelling from all the meds and antibotics in her system, but Screamer will adjust she just is not happy cause I am here in the computer room with the door shut, Minx is in here with me, and Screamer is always with me, ( her human momma) 

LOL! 

Pets, what are we gonna do with them right? I for sure don’t want to be without them I know that, even though I nearly had a stroke seeing that Vet bill..OMG!!!!  I may have to sell a kidney to get it paid off, holy cow!!

this is Minx taken in early spring of this year, 2008  Her & my other calico cat Scodie always had to follow me & the dogs when I went to check on the horses, which are no longer at the farm, and that will be another day’s story!!

So I’m glad Minx is home now and I pray she gets better and I pray my other Cat does not get sick I can’t afford any more vet bills;

OUCH !!!

My Poor Minx (my cat) she had to be taken to the vet today, she has a really nasty cold or pneumonia I am still waiting for the vet to call me and let me know how she is I have called twice since I took her there early this morning and its now 3:00 p.m. my time, For heaven’s sakes how long does one have to wait the last time I called about an hour ago they still had not even examined her…WTF??   So the longer they make me wait it out, the more stressed out I get worrying over my cat;   Here is a current photo of my Minx;

I cannot  for the life of me remember her age I know she is older than 10+ now maybe more will have to check it out at the Vet later in my file, I cannot even remember the age of her first born Screamer which is my baby and she lives here with me in my home, Minx and my other pets are out at my Father’s farm;  Which I hate , I hate that we all are not “together” anymore; So here I sit on pins and needles waiting to hear what my poor darlin has, and I pray it won’t get my Screamer sick whatever she has I know I’ll have to bring her “here”  hope the asswipes that run this place don’t find out..

Nothing else to talk about today other than I made another Apple pie for tomorrow we are having another Thanksgiving gathering for those that could not come on Thursday no wonder we all are so stinking fat!  We eat too much!
